- Since 1998 our environmental programs have successfully maintained a system that ensures:
- Compliance to all applicable state, federal and local legal requirements with a goal of beyond compliance
- Prevention of pollution in all forms
- Conservation of natural resources, including energy, through source reduction, reuse and recycling wherever practical
- Continual environmental performance improvement through the involvement of all DMI employees and partnership through the local community

Green Initiative – Waste Reduction
- In 2019 DMI converted an existing chrome tank into an evaporation tank allowing for a significant reduction of waste water and material which no longer has to be sent for disposal
- DMI has been able to reduce from 13 tankers @ 5K gallons of waste per load in 2018 to 2 tankers of 5K gallons of waste per load in 2021, an approximate annual reduction of 55,000 gallons of waste
